Having a kid in the house with grandparents far away has made me into a camera junkie! I love taking pics of him and took thousands this year. Here is a small sampling of some of my favourite moments of 2007. (He loves watching this, keeps asking for it over and over, we have to have a talk about a new vocabulary word "vanity").

OMG! He is either about the cutest kid around or you are a great photographer....or maybe both! My favorites were with the white bear hat thing and the Independence Day outfit. Cute, cuter, cutest!

Pinche Max.. (I think that was the first post I read on your blog actually) The cutest kid indeed, congrats for the little CanMex heartbreaker and the lovely family. I believe you chose the best song for the soundtrack too... :-)

What editor are you using to do that? I've seen you do it with vids and pics with music and writing.
He really is the cutest little kid ever. I too like the white fur hat one and the Independencia but I also like all the action shots. What a great thing that he is exposed to the ocean in so many ways while so young. He will be fearless. It's great that you guys are taking advantage of the opportunities for him growing up here. It must be tough for the grandparents being so far from him but these pictures are a joy.
Oh, and the poll? I have to choose between my partner, my dog and my computer? This is secret right?

Wayne- Thanks for the kind words! He's a cute kid who knows it and I am an amateur photog who loves to take pics and learn as I go.

Manolo- Si, Pinche Max, lol! My little MexiCanadian is known as "El Galan" en su escuela, he's going to break some hearts and one day I know it will be mine.
Liz- I'm just using Windows Movie Maker believe it or not, not fancy but gets the job done. You can use vids, music, pics, text slides, and they've got some effects on there (though I don't get all crazy with them, just don't have the time or patience!)
Jonna- It is very important to us that Max have exposure to the ocean and nature in general. His first swim in the ocean was at one month old and we haven't looked back since. He really is fearless, though he certainly has a respect for the water. We were at the beach one day when it was rough and he actually said "Dangerous mommy". Yes, his grandparents would like for him to be closer, but they also love to come visit!
Brice- Be careful what you wish for! Santa might just bring you a little bundle of screams and shit. Some days I think a dancing monkey would be less trouble than a kid. ;-)
Oh and Jonna, yes it's a secret poll, lol! Heck, I picked cheese, shhhhhh.

Are those green eyes on that little cutie? Oooh MAN, you may as well just lock him in his room for his whole teenage years if you don't want all the little teenie boppers in Cancun following after him everywhere he goes! Too cute.

mexpat- His eyes change colour depending on his clothes. Usually they are green or grey but sometimes blue. I can't even think about all the potential partners we'll have to fight off! Glad you like the music!
