Never Trust a Three Year Old

While writing my last blog post......

Me: Where are you going Max?
Max: To the bafroom.
Me: Do you need help?
Max: No, I do it.

(five minutes of silence later....)

Me: What are you doing Max?
Max: Nothing!
Me: Uh oh. (running downstairs)
Max: Look at me, I did it! Yay!
Me: **sigh** (grabs camera)

Lesson learned. Well, Mommy learned, not so sure Max won't try this one again if Mommy forgets lesson and trusts him to be alone for more than two minutes. At least the house has that new baby smell to it.

Fear the silence.

what Scott said. Also when a child says nothing, it means "nothing that I want to tell you about". At first I thought that he had put some sort of ointment or toothpaste on his head, or even bleached it! babypowder is just messy but on the list of stuff he could have done, relatively benign. Just wait until he decorates himself and the walls with permanent marker!

Mimi- LOL, great comment! Glad to see your accident hasn't touched your sense of humour. Hope you are healing nicely. :)

Scott- Oh man, do I ever fear the silence! Nothing good comes from a quiet three year old.

Theresa- Much like silence, "nothing" is something to be afraid of for sure. Funny you mention markers on the walls, if you look closely at the one pic you can see a small blue mark on his forehead. That was leftover from colouring the whole TV blue earlier in the day. I've also got a nice section of white wall with his "modern art" red. He's still really proud of that one, pointing to it and saying "Look, I did it!" with a big smile on his face.

Heather- Oh sure, encourage him, lol! He was quite proud enough, teehee.
